The next day, we decided to go to the Zoo.
Unfortunately, a few other people had the same idea...
We persevered, and eventually made it in.
A Penguin.
And this is where he came from! The map is upside-down, as its centered on Antarctica.
An unknown but awesome bird.
What a silly hair cut.
This little valley caught Toolmans attention.
The cute little critters were entertaining the crowds.
Nom! Nom!
Mum feeding the camels.
Princess' turn.
Mum making freinds with a Horsey.
Fat Pig!
More feeding.
This curious little fella came and said hi to us.
More cute things.
Giraffes!
This great ape came and eye-balled Toolman very closely, if the safety glass wasn't there, he'd have shat himself.
Orang-utan ...
... plus bucket ...
equals orang-utan in a bucket!
This beautiful Serval was only slightly larger then a domestic cat, but had very striking markings.
And this kitty is striking too!
We left just as the sun started setting.
Group photo.
We spent the evening in the Széchenyi Medicinal Bath; pure mineral relaxation.

It was amazing to relax in after all the walking we had done - the mineral baths soothed out our aches and pains. After the baths, we headed back to the apartment.
Next morning, we got up and went for a walk around the city.
This opportunity shop was an odd mix of styles. Sik Sik: American Hippie...
they got all your ganster/whiteboy angst tee shirt needs covered.
Another place that we had a lookin was the library, a beautiful old building.
The foyer hosted a nice cafe, bustling with students.
Nice spiral staircase.
We came back to the Market halls, and this time it was open.
It is a building that is impressive in scale on the inside. Only 2 floors, with an incredible roof height.
The ground floor was all kinds of food shops; fresh fruit and vege, butchers, lots of herbs, nuts ans pastes.
These are dried peppers, with garlic in the background. These are hangin everywhere .
The upstairs area was more tourist-oriented. This is the food section, but most of it is trinkets: ....?
Something about this meal looks a bit wrong.
We were not sure how to pronounce the name of this restaurant; both times Toolman tried to pronounce it, rude words came out.
After a mornings walking we crossed the road and went to The For Sale Bar. The ladies wanted to try Budapests' famous Goulash.
We sat down and ordered our meal. All the tables have free peanuts, and we all ate quite a few of them.
It got both thumbs up, a well received meal.
As our plane leaves mid-afternoon, we headed back to the apartment to check out and make our way to the airport. As booked, a nice taxi lady picked us up and drove us to the airport.
